William "Bill" Gibson White, 88, of Hot Springs, Ark., passed away Dec. 19, 2018.
He was born June 9, 1930, in Hot Springs, to Dewey and Ruby (Mills) White.
Bill was a dedicated employee of 23 years as a printer at The Washington Post. He wrote five books and wrote a weekly column for The Standard in Amity. Bill was a Korean War veteran and a member of Carousel Readers' Theater. He attended Henderson State University, was an instructor at Garland County Community College and volunteered at the Mid-America Science Museum.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; and stepson, Christopher Grace.
Survivors include his wife of over 41 years, Barbara White; sons, John White (Charise), Michael White (Jamie); stepson, David Grace (Naoe); sister, Lucy Postlewate (Jack); four grandchildren; six step grandchildren; two step great-grandsons; nieces and nephews.
